What does the North Texas Jewish Homeschoolers group do?
This group will support Orthodox Jewish parents who are currently homeschooling or contemplating homeschooling.  Jewish families who are interested in learning more about homeschooling their children in a manner consistent with Orthodox Jewish halacha and those who are interested in social opportunities for their homeschooled children are welcome to join our group to seek support, ask questions and participate in our social activities.  

How much does it cost?
The group is free to join, but once a year we will ask for donations to keep the website going. The website costs $90 per year, so the cost per family is very minimal. The website is maintained by one of our members who donates her time.

 

Does my family have to be Jewish to join?

Yes. We are a Jewish home school group. The founding families are all Orthodox, but we are open to all Jewish affiliations as well as secular Jews.

In which cities are your members located?
Currently, we have families residing in Dallas and Plano.
