Curriculum

The first step in looking for a curriculum or other homeschooling resources would be to start off on a well known review site such as Cathy Duffy reviews.  Another suggestion is to comb through a homeschooling forum, such as the Well Trained Mind forum, to find out what real homeschoolers are saying about a curriculum.  Once you find a curriculum or resource you want to purchase, head to Rainbow Resource which carries practically every resource for homeschoolers, plus shipping is free if you spend $50.

And keep in mind that it’s ok not to like a curriculum.  If you purchase something and it just doesn’t work for you or your children then you are free to send it back, donate it, resell it or save it for another child.  In the beginning of your journey, you’re bound to make mistakes, ch”v, but as time goes on you’ll find yourself becoming more curriculum savvy.
